Boredom Busters #3: MUTANTS

I'm not sure the thought process that lead up to the boys asking, "Can we turn some of our stuffed animals into mutants?", but my answer was "Uhhh...okay?  Sure?"



At some point during this project, I was hit with the realization that my boys are Sid.  You know..."that ain't no happy child" Sid from Toy Story.

But I pushed that thought aside and kept teaching them how to use a needle and thread.  At least a useful skill came out of their mild deviance, right?

Dino head, hippo body, with dog tail and ear happens to be my favorite.

As for this little girl, she wanted no part of mutant-izing her stuffed animals, and kept her favorites held close:
