I have within the last year finally found a system for organizing my jewelry.
There is nothing glamorous about my system...but it works beautifully in terms of functionality, so why not share?
This is inside a cabinet in my bathroom. I put adhesive hooks along each wall for my necklaces (only one side shown). I use an ice cube tray for earrings. Bracelets and my name tag for work sit on the bottom of the cabinet for easy access. The jewelry boxes in the back hold rarely worn items and sentimental stuff. (Jonathan's class ring...Lauryn's baby bracelet....watches awaiting battery replacement...etc.)
There you have it! Everything is easy to find; the earrings stay paired together in their cube tray, and the necklaces don't get tangled up on their hooks.
I lived for years before this in a state of jewelry disarray, so here's hoping this post will help free someone from their accessory organization woes.

Very cool!!! I love the ice cube trays!!! My father-in- law one year bought me a huge jewelry box. It's actually a piece of furniture in our bedroom!!! It holds everything!!! If you ever find one at a garage sale, get one !!! Thry are well worth it!!! Hugs to you!!! This is Mary R. ( R.'s sister!)
