Ruffled Skirt and Matching Shirt

I finally made an outfit for Lauryn, on my own, without assistance, that didn't end up in the trash.  May we all have a moment of silence in honor of this sewing miracle.

Here's the free online pattern for the skirt; easy to follow with pictures.  Great for newbies like myself. 

Here's the site where I found the pattern for the flower applique.

I grabbed the shirt at Hobby Lobby for $2.99.  (Bringing my total for this outfit to $2.99.)

So who wants to come sew with me?  I have lots more fabric in my grandma-donated fabric stash!
