If you've ever asked me how I like living in Lubbock, somewhere in my response I've probably mentioned the great people I've met here. Specifically, this 115 square miles of flat West Texas plains seems to have more than it's fair share of incredible women.
Some of these women are sharing their voices on PRIZE, the new blog for Trinity Church Women's Ministry. I'm excited to be among the contributing authors.
I have a new post up at PRIZE today (click here!), and last Friday 'fessed up to my third grade fashion faux pas. (And don't miss my friend Tina's encouraging PRIZE post from last week!)
Go check it out, and see how I manage to make an infamous Sally Field quote (this video must haunt her) into the title of my blog post.
Well, you sure are making a great case for relocating to Lubbock. It's not too late to try and convince Eric to interview there. :-) Oh, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on Shepherding a Child's Heart sometime.
I thought about your post thru most of my Power class today. Specifically how it relates to my people-liking-me aspirations. I don't compromise myself for likability's sake & I want Christ to be Glorified thru whatever people like about me. And to be proud of the unseen.
Anyway,
I appreciate the perspective.
Though I have quite a few projects on today's plate, so I had to comment in the hopes of clearing my mind & focusing!!
How cool is that PRIZE site? I love the two posts you've written. I hope that site is a huge blessing to the community of women at your church as well as beyond the church.
