Lauryn has a nightie she has christened her "Dancing Nightie." When she has it on it's all dancing...all the time.

Ryan has somehow learned the phrase "Drinking and Driving." He asked, with concern, about my habit of drinking Diet Coke while behind the wheel.

One of my friends picked Ryan up from school yesterday. When they saw a cop with his flashers on, Ryan announced, "He's probably getting someone for drinking and driving."

Dylan got to play catcher at the tee-ball game last night. He amused the crowd with his antics. He kept pretending like he was going to toss the ball to the ump when the ump wasn't looking. (This routine was a big crowd pleaser, so he just kept at it. Truly his mother's son.)

I accidentally referred to "Aunt Michael and Uncle Stephanie" today, instead of the other way around, and Lauryn got a serious case of the giggles. She's been saying "Aunt Michael!" all morning, then cracking up. (Sorry about that Mike. Hopefully it won't stick.)

We've blocked off a week on our calendar this summer as FAMILY VACATION. Jonathan has already taken off work, and we've going on vacation!

There's just the small issue of deciding where we're going. And what we're going to do once we get there.

Anyone have a favorite TX/NM/CO vacation destination to recommend?

As of March 28th, I am now "in my early thirties." Yeah....I was 30 last year....but now that I've hit 31 I'm INTO my thirties. I bet my mom feels old.

One last bit of randomness: Just saw a Noggin commercial that Jack Black is going to be on "Yo Gabba Gabba!" on April 11th.

That, my friends, is must see TV.

Yo Gabba Gabba has to be the most random show. He will fit in perfectly.

I am in my 30s now and it's OK. We tell the boys they can have as many cookies as how old they are (I know at some point we'll have to stop this, but it's fun for now). So when we play that game, I act like I'm going to eat 30 cookies. Good times.

We liked San Antonio when we lived in Texas. I'd also love to take the boys to Houston to see the NASA stuff.

That's all I have for random comments.

We are all about San Antonio. Have gone every year since we moved here. It's even a nice 6 hour drive if you go the route we do. Hills all around.
If you can get a good rate at Hyatt Hill Country that is the place to stay with kids. Activities all day long every day for kids & nice pools/waterslides/lazy river.

You mean you're not interested in packing up the kids for a grand adventure to the Pac NW? By the time you get here, you may have one day to see the sights before heading home! :-) I wish I had some good recommendations for you. We've just backpacked in those areas, and I'm not quite sure that's what you had in mind. :-)

Love the story about Dylan and the umpire. What a jokester.
