In a few hours, I start the first leg of my journey home from Japan! After a bus ride to the airport, I will get on the plane in Tokyo about 6:00pm. Since Japan is 14 hours ahead of Texas, I'll travel back in time (cue Huey Lewis music) and arrive in Texas the same time and same day I left Japan. Weird.
Japan is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Lisa and Keith are committed to building relationships with these wonderful people, and showing them through their lives what it means to know and worship Jesus. Lisa and Keith are people of prayer and well-suited for the particular assignment God has given them. It has been a joy to spend a week with their family. Their three kids are so much fun!
FYI: Our computer at home has been sent in for some repair, so email correspondence will be few and far between. If I emailed you a digital album of pictures, you'll have to call to tell me what a great photojournalist I am. Ha!
Can't wait to see my husband and babies! I'm America Bound in a few short hours!
Here are a few pictures from the trip.
I am so glad you had a good time! What a blessing to be able to go. You look like such a pro with those chopsticks!! Praise God for best friends and 30th birthday celebrations!
Great pictures!
WOO, HOO! See you God willing in a few weeks! I'm glad you had such a wonderful trip!

Glad you had a good time with Lisa. I could not imagine living that far away from "home".
