Count Down: 4 days
Thursday, August 23, 2007

The last school supply item has been checked off our list. A new thermos and lunch box have been bought. We are going to meet the Kindergarten teacher this afternoon. And four days later...Ryan starts school!

Wasn't it just yesterday we were bringing this little guy home from the hospital?

It's too funny that you posted this; I was just wondering if Ryan had started school yet! His baby picture is beautiful...he looks pretend, like a baby doll! Hang in there!

Aaawww...it's amazing how time flies. Is he super excited, or nervous? I'll be thinking of you guys on Monday.

I remember that the first day of Kindergarten is one of the most emotional days that a parent will go through...take the tissue...

Ah yes, how time does fly? When the kids are newborns you can't wait for them to start sleeping through the night and doing something besides just laying there and then you wake up and buying school supplies for kindergarten, it is terribly emotional, almost bittersweet. Logan started kindergarten last week and loves it. I was excited for him to begin this new journey, but part of me was saddened that my baby will always be going to school now. How did he do at school? How did you do?
