I'm in Tulsa this week, visiting family and depositing my kids with their grandparents. Later in the week I'll meet up with Jonathan at Church Camp, where we're taking a group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders from our church. Good times!

It was a long eight hours driving from Lubbock, by myself with the three kids. BUT, not nearly as long as it will feel for Jonathan later this week riding on a bus with elementary kids!

Regarding your trip, Starr, I'd choose a bus full of elementary kids ANY DAY over 8 hours in a minivan with three toddlers. ANY DAY. You wouldn't? Seriously? I seem to remember one of those girly informational emails not so long ago when the above situation was named as your worst imaginable day. But I admire your optimism and husband-honor to assert that Jonathan's plight will be more challenging!! :-)
