Living On Tulsa Time
Monday, June 18, 2007

I'm in Tulsa this week, visiting family and depositing my kids with their grandparents. Later in the week I'll meet up with Jonathan at Church Camp, where we're taking a group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders from our church. Good times!

It was a long eight hours driving from Lubbock, by myself with the three kids. BUT, not nearly as long as it will feel for Jonathan later this week riding on a bus with elementary kids!

We should get together while you're here! Nadia and I were planning on doing something Wednesday morning. You should join us!

I wanna come, Margo!!! :-) I'll just hope on a plane and be right there...
(I'll be there July 1st, by the way.)

Regarding your trip, Starr, I'd choose a bus full of elementary kids ANY DAY over 8 hours in a minivan with three toddlers. ANY DAY. You wouldn't? Seriously? I seem to remember one of those girly informational emails not so long ago when the above situation was named as your worst imaginable day. But I admire your optimism and husband-honor to assert that Jonathan's plight will be more challenging!! :-)

I question if Queen Cash has ever been on a bus with dozens of 7,8,9,10,&11 year olds?
