Ryan turned five on Saturday. I would write about the ache I feel in my heart about my baby turning five years old, but I'm not quite articulate enough to express it. For some reason, five seems so much older than four....
His grandparents and uncle were in town to help us celebrate. We had a grand time at Lubbock's very own Chuck E. Cheese. Here are some pictures of the festivities.
5 is gonna hurt me too. I can already feel it coming.
He is so handsome! What great pictures!
Happy Birthday, Ryan!
(I know how you feel, Starr! My oldest is turning six next month!)
Oh, just wait. Right now I am having a hard time adjusting to the fact that my baby is going to start kindergarten next month and go to school all day. It is also hard to deal w/that my oldest only has this year and next left of jr. high. Oh, also when Noah (the oldest) was about 4 I noticed his hand didn't have those dimples anymore they had turned into knuckles. These have been terribly disturbing times for me.
I meant left until jr. high. oops
