In the spirit of political correctness, the mascot of my college alma mater (Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK) has changed from the NSU Redmen to the NSU RiverHawks. I like it. I think it's an appropriate name, given that most of our free time in college was spent on the river - cooking out, camping, hiking, rafting, rappelling (Jonathan, not me), listening to someone play guitar around a fire, and all those other fun free-spirited type things you do before you take on the demands of real life.
