Movie Madness
Sunday, April 1, 2007

For the past hour, The Flight of the Navigator has been playing on our TV. The boys are in bed, but my 31 year old husband is watching with rapt attention. It must bring up happy memories from his childhood, for I can think of no other reason to voluntarily sit through this movie.

Holy cow, I LOVE "Flight of the Navigator"!!! When I think about that movie, I always think of Sarah Jessica Parker and her pink hair that she wore to a Twisted Sister concert.

I forgot about that movie. I've seen it so many times--it's what they showed on rainy days when I was in public school (sometimes before the fourth grade. After that I was homeschooled.)

I'd watch it again if I saw it on TV. It's a part of being a child in the 80's!

"Flight of the Navigator," boys can dream can't they? I get lost in this movie every time I watch it. I can't help it if I'm a child of the 80's.
